Conference on Policy and Mechanism Design in Politically Challenging Environments, Kyiv

We participate in the Conference on Policy and Mechanism Design in Politically Challenging Environments, 25-27th July 2018, organised by Kyiv School of Economics. The conference held a series of talks and round-table discussions between world leading academic specialists on mechanism and market design and representatives of Ukrainian public authorities and government agencies, as well as members of the parliament of Ukraine.

2018 SAET Conference session organised

Andy Zapechelnyuk organised a session on the frontiers of information design, persuasion and communication at the 2018 SAET Conference (Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory), Taipei, Taiwan, June 11-13.

The session featured the talks from leading specialists in the field:

  • “Ambiguous Persuasion” by Ming Li (Concordia University), joint with Dorian Beauchêne (MAPP-Economics) and Jian Li (Tsinghua University)
  • “Competitive Disclosure of Correlated Information” by Pak Hung Au (Nanyang Technological University), joint with Keiichi Kawai (University of New South Wales)
  • “A Simple Theory of Media Reports” by Kohei Kawamura (Waseda University), joint with Mark Le Quement (University of East Anglia)
  • “Persuasion Meets Delegation” by Andy Zapechelnyuk (St Andrews), joint with Anton Kolotilin (UNSW)
